Homes with a Heart
More than just a house - it's a home.
Located in neighborhoods throughout Virginia, our eight group homes in Ashland, Glen Allen, Varina (2), Virginia Beach (2), Stuarts Draft and Lynchburg empower adults with a developmental disability to live as independently as possible while receiving the support they need to be successful.
Our homes house four individuals of any faith, race, gender, or age who are fully supervised by dedicated shift staff, including overnight. Each resident has his or her own bedroom, decorated however they wish and each house offers multiple communal areas where residents can relax and socialize.

What we do
Independence and personal growth are at the core of our services. We develop individualized support plans that not only offer compassionate care where it's needed but also empower residents to grow and become more independent. These plans are carefully crafted, taking into account the developmental, social, and emotional needs of each person we support.
Community Engagement
Transportation and support for group activities, church, sports and recreation, and arts and culture.
Managing Health & Wellness
We encourage healthy meals, manage healthcare appointments, administer medications, and monitor any health changes.
Learning Life Skills
Coaching on essential daily tasks like meal preparation, home maintenance, budgeting, conflict resolution, and grocery shopping.
Safety
Staff receive extensive training, safety plans are customized, homes undergo regular internal audits and adhere to licensing regulations.
Advocacy and Emotional Support
Our team has creative problem solvers who advocate for accommodations and assistive technology, enhancing independence and quality of life.
